Leaked OS X 10.10 screenshots reveal iOS 7-like Control Center, Notification Center, Dock and more

Apple to announce more plans for iBeacon Technology at WWDC

Wall Street Journal reports that Apple will announce more plans for its iBeacon technology at the WWDC Keynote, which kicks off in just over 12 hours from now. The iBeacon technology was introduced in iOS 7. It is a special Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) profile that enables "micro-location" and ranging. Continue reading

If you’re lucky enough to get to go to WWDC 2014, you’re going to get set up with a $25 gift card for iTunes as well as a black polyester spandex jacket with “WWDC 14″ embroidered on the chest. Apple is using PassBook in order to register the attendees and then given the same plastic ID barcode badge as given in the previous year. iOS 7 adoption approaches 90 percent ahead of WWDC

Apple is kicking off its Worldwide developers conference on Monday, with the unveiling of iOS 8 expected to be a major highlight of tomorrow’s keynote event. Ahead of these changes to iOS, adoption of the current version of iOS continues to grow, with almost 90 percent of iPhone and iPad owners running iOS 7, claims Chitika in a recent report.
