While making phone calls may not be a huge priority for many smartphone owners these days, being able to talk to someone outside of text has become a big deal, thanks to video chatting and ephemeral messaging platforms. 
While Apple is yet to launch the iPhone 8, rumors about the 2019 ‘iPhone 9’ have already started making their way to the internet. A report from The Korea Economic Daily claims that LG Innotek will start the mass production of flexible PCBs as it aims to become one of the main suppliers of flexible boards for the 2018 iPhone. 
Apple officially started assembling the iPhone SE in India from mid-May, and now, the handset has started making its way across retail channels in the country. Assembled in India iPhone SE units come with a ‘Designed in California. Assembled in India’ tagline. 
It has been heavily rumored that Apple will be releasing the iPhone 8 later this year with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its display. While Samsung was also reported to include an in-display fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy Note 8 due to launch later this year, the Korean company could not get the technology ready in time.
