Apple’s recent court victory suggests it is slowly but surely winning its battle to maintain iPhone privacy in the U.S., but it may not be so successful elsewhere. France is threatening to fine the Cupertino €1 million ($1.08 million) for every iPhone it refuses to unlock. 
Apple, with its new iOS 9.3 upgrade, appears to have added a feature for IT administrators that could upset a lot of employees. According to a PDF on the company’s Developer Center, employers will be able to dictate where app icons sit on company iPhone home screens. 
Apple has reportedly patched a software vulnerability that made it possible to jailbreak iOS 9.3. The fix comes in its fifth beta release which was rolled out on Tuesday, and it could make hacking iOS 9.3 more difficult. 
As the FBI has tried to make its case to the public, saying that a win for the agency in its battle with Apple over iOS encryption wouldn’t set a precedent moving forward, it turns out that precedent may have been the goal all along. 
On its streak of beta releases, Apple has also seeded the latest beta for its most personal device to date, the Apple Watch's watchOS. 
Apple has seeded tvOS 9.2 beta 5 to developers for testing. 
Apple has seeded the fifth beta for iOS 9.3 to developers. 
Apple's upcoming desktop release, OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, is still in its beta phases, and the company has just released another version to developers.
