When Apple launched the 12.9-inch iPad Pro in November 2015, it also launched the Apple Pencil to go along with it. Apple was initially mocked for launching a stylus-like device, but soon after, artists and creators started appreciating the usefulness of the Apple Pencil. 
Apple is not the only one that is working on a bezel-less iPhone 8 this year. Samsung’s upcoming flagship — the Galaxy S8, and LG’s already launched G6 also feature an almost bezel-less design.
