Apple Partially Cleared By ITC In Motorola Patent Case Posted: 25 Aug 2012 12:45 PM PDT Before Apple was awarded a victory in its lawsuit against Samsung by a US court, the US International Trade Commission issued a ruling in a separate case filed by Motorola, partially clearing Apple of patent infringement charges. Motorola, now owned by Google, had filed a case with the ITC alleging infringement of patents relating to wireless technology. One of the patents is a part of an industry standard, which brings Motorola under the obligation to license it at fair and reasonable terms. Continue reading →

Update On Jailbreak For Apple TV 3 Posted: 25 Aug 2012 11:55 AM PDT Back in May, FireCore had released a new version of Seas0nPass that allowed users to jailbreak their Apple TV 2 on Apple TV 5.0.1 (iOS 5.1.1) software update. But Seas0nPass was not compatible with Apple TV 3. Fast forward to today, and there is still no way to jailbreak Apple TV 3, but there is finally some hope, as 9to5Mac recently reported that the jailbreak for Apple TV 3 is in the works.
