They’re going to be made out of plastic, not metal and glass. How cheap will they be? No one will really know until Apple publishes an official press release. A new display technology called IGZO (indium gallium zinc oxide) could improve the energy consumption of mobile devices, and hence require a less powerful battery for the same 10 hour battery life.
