To honor the passing of Nelson Mandela, Apple has taken down the front page of its website and replaced it with a tribute to the former South African leader. Mandela, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and anti-apartheid revolutionary, passed away on December 5th after a lengthy illness. Continue reading

Apple starts selling the Sharp 4K IGZO LED monitor to compliment its upcoming Mac Pro
Apple is expected to start selling its new Mac Pro in the coming weeks and all eyes are on Apple’s website waiting for the powerhouse of a machine to officially debut. The Mac Pro supports up to three 4K displays, which means customers who purchase the desktop will need a complimentary monitor. Apple asking for $15.7M from Samsung to cover attorney fees in patent case
The bill for Apple’s longstanding patent infringement case with Samsung is going up, according to a report in FOSS Patents. To recoup its legal fees, Apple filed a motion in the Northern District Court of California asking Judge Lucy Koh to grant the company almost $16 million in legal fees. Continue reading
