Japanese Mac blog Mac Otakara claims that according to their sources iPhone 6 will feature rounded edges and a curved glass display. Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke briefly with the Wall Street Journal after the company’s earnings conference call yesterday. Apple announced its Q2 2014 earnings on Wednesday and reported better than expected iPhone sales, lagging iPad sales and a 7 for 1 stock split that left shareholders smiling. In his interview, Cook talked to the WSJ about the company’s need to innovate and its prospects for mobile payments.

A new tweak by the name of LivePhotos has landed in Cydia, and it joins the ranks among the Clock app and the Calendar app to bring you just a little bit more than the usual static icon on the iOS Springboard. Yesterday, Apple posted quarterly revenue of $45.6 billion and quarterly net profit of $10.2 billion, or $11.62 per diluted share in the second fiscal quarter of 2014 (first calendar quarter of 2014), compared to revenue of $43.6 billion and quarterly net profit of $9.5 billion, or $10.09 per diluted share in the year-ago quarter.
