Apple to Pay $53 Million to Settle iPhone Warranty Lawsuit
According to a document obtained by Wired, Apple has agreed to pay $53M to settle a class action lawsuit over iPhone and iPod touch warranties. The lawsuit accused Apple of not respecting the one-year standard or two-year extended warranty, denying customers repairs or replacements for faulty devices claiming that they'd suffered water-damage.
