U.S. Patent Office Rejects Apple’s ‘iPad Mini’ Trademark Application Posted: 01 Apr 2013 12:24 PM PDT The U.S. Patents and Trademark Office (USPTO) has rejected Apple's initial request for a trademark on the term "iPad mini" noting that, as per the application, the term appears to be "merely descriptive" and not unique.
