By Dennis D. Bednarz on May 12, 2019 04:40 pm Retro is the new modern, people say. The 10’s have been filled with throwback products from major companies loving the 1930’s style. But it’s not only companies that are having fun. The team “Geometric Software” has just released a new jailbreak tweak for iOS 12 devices (including A12 support) called RotaryPass and it does exactly what you think it does. Continue reading →
By Dennis D. Bednarz on May 12, 2019 11:50 am iPhones have been a very popular offering in China, as opposed to a lot of other western products. The App Store is also the biggest software store in China due to the Play Store being entirely banned from the Asian country. However, iPhone shipments to China have been slowly staggering over the past year. Continue reading →
By Khamosh Pathak on May 12, 2019 11:38 am iOS 13 is just around the corner. At WWDC, Apple will finally release the 13th version of its popular iPhone and iPhone operating system. One of the most buzzed-about gadgets of the second half of the decade might be Apple's entry into the cell phone industry, the iPhone. The touchscreen/Internet/camera/and-some-other-things phone launched on June 29, 2007. Its second generation, the iPhone 3G, hit the shelves on July 11, 2008.
To use the phone, one did not have a choice of phone networks, it was AT&T or nothing. But mere months after its initial launch, people were looking for ways to hack into the phone and unlock its functionality into any service for any country (back when the iPhone was USA-exclusive). Suffice to say, Apple was not amused.
The iPhone's main competitor is perhaps BlackBerry, with the iPhone 3G and BlackBerry Bold models standing as flagship rivals. But whatever the latest sales numbers may reveal, the iPhone is a trendy accessory for the diligent blogger, as evidenced by one witness at BlogWorld Expo 2008.
