The US Patent and Trademark Office, today, published a patent application from Apple that describes an ambient solar cell light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the display. According to Business Insider, PayPal may be among the first companies to support Apple’s Touch ID in iOS 8. During its WWDC 2014 keynote, Apple announced that it is opening up the Touch ID API to third-parties, allowing developers to integrate the functionality into their apps.
